2022 Ambulance Chase 5K to support Public Interest Law Fund

Wayne State University Law School will conduct its 2022 Ambulance Chase 5K on Saturday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to noon.  Sponsored by the Wayne Law Student Bar Association Board of Governors, the Ambulance Chase 5K pokes fun at the stereotype of the ambulance-chasing lawyer and helps support a good cause.

The 2022 Ambulance Chase 5K will be supporting the Wayne Law Public Interest Law Fund (PILF). This private fund provides scholarships to Wayne Law students to pursue positions in public interest fields. Public interest law students, with the aid of this fund, can gain valuable experience and serve the community through the work that they do.

This event will comply with all Wayne State University Campus Health policies. This includes the following requirements:

• Wayne State requires all participants and attendees to have received their COVID-19 vaccination and booster. Regarding the booster, participants have 1 month following eligibility to receive the booster before they do not qualify to attend this event. Participants must submit proof of vaccination to a Google Form provided after purchase.

• Wayne State requires all participants and attendees to fill out a guest screener before coming on campus. The screener will be emailed to all registered attendees the week of the event.

• Wayne State University Law School will be open for bathroom access. Participants must wear a mask in the building and must have a mask on hand.

Cost to participate in the race is $30.  Registration includes a place in the walk/run as well as the race shirt.  To register, visit https://law.wayne.edu and click on “events.”
